Yup, for the first time in team history, the Giants have given permission to the NFL Network to place a camera in their draft room. What’s next for the Giants? A featured role on the HBO series “Hard Knocks’’ this summer?
The NFL Network is trumpeting its 51 live hours of coverage of this year’s draft. As one of 16 teams to grant access to their war rooms, the Giants will allow behind-the-scenes video access as the team executives make their selections.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall when coach Tom Coughlin was informed of this departure from Giants tradition.
In addition to the Giants, the teams with cameras in their war rooms are the Texans, Rams, Jaguars, Falcons, Vikings, Bills, Titans, Cowboys, Cardinals, Packers, Chiefs, Panthers, Broncos, Colts and the Super Bowl champion Seahawks.
