‘Kiddie porn’ court officer photographed kids in courthouse: prosecutors

A Brooklyn court officer who was busted on child porn charges took voyeuristic pictures of kids in his courthouse, Brooklyn federal prosecutors said today.

Alberto Yard, 44, of Brooklyn, was originally arrested for uploading child pornography on computers in his home and released on $750,000 bond.

But the 19-year court officer veteran had his bail package yanked after investigators found new evidence that he produced a trove of sickening child porn himself, federal prosecutors said.

Agents found images and videos that Yard personally shot in his home’s bathroom and bedroom of both boys and girls in various stages of undress, prosecutors said.

U.S. Attorney Margaret Gandy said Yard installed a hidden camera in the restroom to capture his unsuspecting victims.

Yard even allegedly sank to taking pictures of kids on a cell phone while working in Brooklyn civil court on Livingston Street, prosecutors said.

Investigators also found three illegal guns in the residence – including one firearm with a defaced serial number.

Yard’s teenage daughter was shot and killed at a Bedford-Stuyvesant party in 2009.

Judge Ramon Reyes revoked Yard’s bail package as his distraught father, mother and aunt looked on from the court gallery.
