Melo not expecting Knicks to make trade deadline moves

NEW ORLEANS — Carmelo Anthony has very low expectations with Thursday’s trade deadline approaching.

Anthony said during All-Star Weekend he will sit with Knicks brass after the season to hear their master plan, but doesn’t feel it’s worth it to get too involved for this deadline.

“I don’t know man,’’ Anthony said. “I don’t know who’s tradeable, who’s on the block. Not many people that I think can come right now in February and change our whole season around. This is a difficult time.

“Those are guys who get paid to be the geniuses of the organization,’’ Anthony added. “If they want my advice, I’m more than welcome to talk to and try to figure it out. Other than that, leave it to those guys.’’
