‘Homeland’ star Morgan Saylor talks sex scenes and style

It helps to have some advice when it comes to award show dresses. Luckily, Morgan Saylor, who plays Dana Brody (the daughter) on “Homeland,” has learned a thing or two about style from her “Homeland” co-stars Claire Danes and Morena Baccarin.

“We’re the girls of the show, so we always show each other our Emmy and Golden Globe dresses before,” she tells The Post at the Alice + Olivia presentation Monday at the McKittrick Hotel. “We all have our choices on our iPhones, and zoom in and zoom out and look at the different pictures and decide what works.”

In the last season, though, Saylor, 19, had to worry about the exact opposite of being clothed, thanks to a salacious sex scene.

“Those are weird, there’s no getting around it,” she says. “It was the third day working with that actor. I was really sick, actually. I was like [coughs], here’s my tongue. But it was with a good female director, which made it more comfortable.”

But Damian Lewis, her TV dad, wasn’t too comfortable with it, right?

“I heard that too, but he wasn’t around at that point,” she says. “We never talked about it.”

Maybe that’s a discussion they need to have.

“Maybe . . . ” she trails off with a laugh.
