Mark-Viverito gave zero to charity: tax records

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito couldn’t spare a single dollar for charity last year, according to tax returns she released Tuesday.

The councilwoman reported a salary of $113,555 plus $14,952 in net rental income on her subsidized East Harlem house. She paid $20,460 in taxes to the feds and $12,838 to the city and state.

But the “Gifts to Charity” section was left blank.

It was the second year in a row that Mark-Viverito didn’t make any charitable donations. She declined, through a spokesman, to explain why.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and his wife reported an income of $165,047. They said they gave $5,597 to charity.
