Wes Welker has several new fans.
Though Welker has come up empty in three trips to the Super Bowl, the Broncos receiver was a big winner at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
Welker was spotted handing out $100 bills to random strangers at Churchill Downs after winning what appeared to be a big bet.
Marc Blandford had seen many celebrities in his years going to Derby, but had never witnessed anything like this.
“He said he just won the Kentucky Derby and proceeded to walk down the line until the police officer stopped him,” Blandford told USA Today. “I think six of us ended up with $100 bills.
“Everyone was pretty much freaking out.”
