Blue Angels are flying high again now

These angels finally got their wings back.

The Blue Angels, the Navy’s jet-aerobatics squad, are back in action after being grounded last year by spending cuts.

The Angels’ F-18 Hornets haven’t lifted off since early 2013, when the federal government’s sequestration forced the cancellation of most of their gigs.

“It’s exciting for us to get back,” pilot Ryan Chamberlain told KNSD-TV in San Diego, Calif. The Blue Angels are set to perform at Jones Beach in late May, according to their Web site.
