Anna Kendrick takes Fashion Week by storm

New York Fashion Week was undoubtedly won by Anna Kendrick, who appeared to be anywhere and everywhere as the biannual event took off on Feb. 6.
The “Pitch Perfect” actress and, star of a hilarious Newcastle Brown Ale Super Bowl ad, popped into a bevy of shows, including Jill Stuart, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff and Monique Lhuillier.
She was joined by fellow starlets Carrie Underwood, Emmy Rossum, Zosia Mamet and AnnaSophia Robb — and sent out a number of her trademark side-splitting tweets throughout the week.

Kendrick also underwent so many wardrobe changes, she sent our heads spinning. Here’s a roundup of her looks:

It was pretty in pink for Kendrick during the Kate Spade Fall 2014 presentation, where she opened up about signing on for the “Pitch Perfect” sequel.

“I’m very excited,” she told Us Weekly. “I mean I’ve signed on with no script, so you know, if it becomes about parasailing instead of singing, don’t blame me!”

Kendrick shed layer after layer as she made her way to Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2014 show. Though her coat protected her from the cold, her toes must have been freezing in her Rebecca Minkoff heels.

After last night’s unwelcomed snow storm, Kendrick arrived in weather-appropriate attire – a jacket, boots and thick tights to keep the actress warm throughout the show.

After back-to-back black outfits, the “Twilight” actress stepped out in her most colorful ensemble yet during Jenny Packham’s Tuesday runway show. Kendrick sat front row with English television host Louise Roe.

It’s back to black for Kendrick, who donned a dark frock with a sheer panel to the Guess Road to Nashville Collection Celebrate at Center 548 in Chelsea. With no new projects to promote or luxury endorsements to fulfill, we’re starting to wonder what the actress hopes to accomplish with a schedule packed as heavy as fashion’s top editors.

Girl, take a break! Kendrick appeared in her fourth ensemble of the day at Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales “Spark & Light” screening with Kat Graham, held at the Diamond Horseshoe in Midtown. Not even Anna Wintour, the reigning queen of fashion, makes that many wardrobe changes!

Philosophy By Natalie Ratabesi Fall 2014 Runway

Philosophy By Natalie Ratabesi was lucky number 13 for Kendrick, who rocked a warm overcoat as Polar Vortex 3.0 hit the city.
“Oh my God, every single coat I see on the runway is to die for,” Kendrick said during an interview with the Fug Girls. “It’s such an amazing piece of design. In the summer, I mostly just want to be in a wife beater and shorts. But a big bag and a winter coat make me feel put together and motivated.”

On the final day of Fashion Week, Kendrick ignored NYC’s state of emergency and braved the snow to see the J. Mendel Fall 2014 collection before rubbing elbows with designer Gilles Mendel.
