Here’s your first look at Oscar winner Halle Berry and Goran Visnjic in the upcoming CBS series “Extant” — which marks Berry’s return to series television.
In “Extant” — Steven Spielberg is an executive producer — Berry plays Molly Woods, an astronaut who mysteriously becomes pregnant during a 13-month solo mission in space. Visnjic plays her husband, John Woods.
In this scene from the series, John lends a comforting shoulder to Molly as the couple tries to figure out how Molly got pregnant — while realizing they might be at the center of an ominous experiment in which they have to protect each other and their young son, Ethan.
“Extant” premieres July 9 at 9 p.m.
