Teen ‘clowns’ busted in cop attack

These clowns are headed to jail.

Cops arrested a teen in a clown wig who tried to stab an off-duty officer on an Uptown D train in the Bronx, while his pal punched the cop in the face on Saturday, police said.

The 45-year-old officer was on the D-train on East 170th Street and the Grand Concourse around 2:35 p.m., when the wig-wearing perp tried to stab him with a screwdriver as the clown’s friend punched the cop in the face, sources said.

The victim suffered minor injuries and the duo fled, but the rainbow-colored hair made the suspects easy to track and they were captured nearby on video, cops said.

Police busted Jay Nelson, 17, of 1330 Morris Avenue, and Malik Cruz, 16, of 1359 Findlay Avenue, on Monday. Both men were charged with assault. Cruz was also charged with menacing.
