This may be the first case of a punter roughing the passer.
A fortuitously placed smartphone was all that stood between Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and what would have been an unintentionally tweeted picture of his private parts.
Indy punter Pat McAfee posted a picture of the joyous Colts locker room on Saturday, after the AFC South champs rallied for an improbable playoff victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
When McAfee hit the “post” button, he obviously didn’t see his naked quarterback in the background.
Fortunately for the Colts, a man just happened to be playing with his cell phone in direct line between McAfee’s lens and Luck’s privates, covering the signal caller’s unprotected backside and front.
McAfee deleted the picture and laughed it off, tweeting: “Oh boy.. Half naked Andrew in the back of that last one.. He looked damn good though.”
