TUNA’S GOT GLENN BACK IN HIS PLAN

ABSTRACT:

Jet Notes

Aaron Glenn yesterday completed his second consecutive practice after missing the last three games with a sprained right ankle. The results have been encouraging enough that the Jets expect him to start in their Jan. 10 home playoff game.

“Aaron did fairly well,” Bill Parcells said yesterday. “I’m encouraged by that, even though it was a little less than perfect. Hopefully, by Tuesday he’ll be OK.”

Parcells went on to say that “it looks like” Glenn “has got a real shot” to play effectively.

Glenn also revealed that the injury “has the components of a high ankle sprain,” an injury (which Jaguars’ QB Mark Brunell has) that traditionally takes longer to heal.
