Say what? Jacqueline Bisset gives rambling Globes speech

Earth to Jacqui.

In a bizarre moment that set tongues wagging during Sunday night’s Golden Globes, 69-year-old Jacqueline Bisset gave a disjointed and rambling speech following her win for acting in a miniseries.

After her name was announced, she sat in her seat, shocked, then slowly made her way to the stage. Very slowly.

Once there, she stood silent for several seconds, completely at a loss for words. She barely managed to sputter anything coherent before the band began playing her off the stage.

Finally, she snapped out of it, saying, “I’m gonna get this together.”

“I want to thank the people who’ve given me joy,” she continued. “And for the people that have given me s—t, I say like my mother, ‘Go to hell and don’t come back.’”

She then divulged her best beauty tip: “If you want to look good, forgive everybody.”

Bisset’s speech offered an unscripted moment in an otherwise fairly boring show.
