‘Doctor’ has November appt.

BBC America will simulcast its 50th anniversary “Doctor Who” special, it announced Tuesday.

The special, “Day of the Doctor,” will air to millions of viewers worldwide, including in the US on Nov. 23. The special will also air in Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and over 70 other countries as one of England’s longest-running TV shows celebrates its golden anniversary.

The special will star Matt Smith (the Eleventh Doctor), Jenna Coleman (companion Clara), David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor, most recently seen in “Broadchurch”), Billie Piper and John Hurt.

BBC America will also dedicate an entire week to “Doctor Who” in November, leading up to the 50th anniversary special — including the new movie, “An Adventure in Space and Time.”
