Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri Martino have joined forces for an NBC sitcom pilot called “Growing Ivy.” They will play mother and daughter in the show, written by Martino and Will McCormack.
In the show, an overachieving workaholic daughter (Martino) invites her eccentric mother (Sarandon) to move in with her so that they can make up for lost time.
Martino has appeared as on “Californication” while Sarandon has made sporadic appearances in TV movies (“You Don’t Know Jack”) and series (“Malcolm in the Middle”).
