Digital books not a ‘Bad’ read

For those of you who just can’t let go of “Breaking Bad,” there’s some good news on the horizon — Sony Television is releasing, via the eBook format, scripts from the show’s first (seven-episode) season, which aired in 2008 and introduced the dark world of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) et al.

The eBook is called “Breaking Bad: Season One Scripts” (catchy) and features scripts written by series creator Vince Gilligan, Patty Lin, George Mastras and Peter Gould. It’s live on Amazon and will also be available on the Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony eReader and Apple iBooks (for $9.99). It’s being released through Premier Digital Publishing; readers will be able to toggle between the eBook and a scan of the original scripts.

Last, but not least . . .

WPLJ’s Scott & Todd host their annual holiday party for the children of Blythedale Children’s Hospital (Valhalla) Friday (6-10 a.m.). It’s the 22nd year the guys have done this, raising millions of dollars for the hospital . . . Betty White has made Guinness World Record’s “Top 13 of 2013” list — for the longest TV career (74 years and counting) . . . Congrats to AKR’s Amanda Ruisi for winning the 2013 PR Daily & Ragan Communications “ACE Award” in Media Relations.
