J.R. Smith’s utter lack of a filter in his use of social media is both one of the Knicks swingman’s bad habits and a certain part of his charm.
On Thursday evening, with the Knicks enmeshed in a frantic playoff push in part propelled by Smith’s recent scoring binge, he took some time to rattle off a four-part Twitter series we can call “J.R. Smith’s Guide to Love.”
The moral of the story: J.R. Smith may play the part of the enthusiastic bachelor — just look at some of his previous handiwork — but he’s actually quite picky (roughly 10 percent) when it comes to, you know, “the litter.”
