Murder arrest after a body found wrapped in cellophane

Police arrested a man for murder after finding a man’s body wrapped in cellophane and stuffed inside a black plastic bin inside the suspect’s home.

Joshua Simser, 24, was arrested Sunday, a day after cops found the body in Simser’s home on East 54th Street in Flatlands, police sources said.

The victim, who is believed to be in his 20s, was spending the night at Simser’s house when the two men got into an argument and Simser allegedly stabbed the victim in the face, neck, torso and back, sources added.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the argument or why the victim was sleeping over. Cops have not released his name because his family has not been notified.

Simser was charged with second-degree murder. He has no prior arrests in New York City, sources said.
