PATTY SCALES ‘HEIGHTS’ OF STUPIDITY

ABSTRACT:

Whoever said some things are best left alone must have been thinking about faces and “The Patty Duke Show” and anticipating the frightening possibility that someone would propose “Still Rockin’ in Brooklyn Heights.”

It’s bad enough to remind us that 33 years have passed since identical cousins Patty and Cathy Lane turned Brooklyn Heights into one big double take.

It’s even worse to pretend that Brooklyn Heights could have been even more Disney-fied and that the girls old nemesis, Sue Ellen Caldwell, now played by Cindy Williams, would be doing Cruella de Vil.

Indeed this movie is so not funny or otherwise engaging, it’s hard to imaging anyone sitting through the whole thing.
