Hotel offers $30 ‘all you can mini-bar’

Raiding the hotel mini-bar has never been so — affordable!

Guests at New York’s Loews Regency Hotel can pay an extra $30 per night to enjoy an all-you-can-drink-and-eat mini-bar in their rooms. Before checking out, guests are even encouraged to raid the refrigerator and take home everything left inside in the “Milk the Mini-Bar” program.

“I think people, when they see the mini-bar in their hotel room, they’re tempted by that package of Pringles — but then they’re turned off by the price,” said Adrian Norbury, director of sales and marketing at Loews Regency on Park Avenue and East 61st Street. “We want to make that a non-issue.”

All the items, if purchased a la carte, with their outrageous hotel markup, would cost about $550 — which is a bit more than the average $449 nightly room charge at the posh Upper East Side hotel.

Items will include normal mini-bar fare such as bottled water, beer, wine, champagne, assorted spirits, chocolates, M&Ms, almonds, chocolate pretzels and potato chips.

The beers include Heineken, Brooklyn Lager, Amsetel Light and Miller Lite.
