Dem donor ‘deadbeat’

Media mogul Robert Sillerman donated half a million dollars to the Democratic Party in October — but he didn’t pay his taxes.

The SFX entertainment chief, who amassed a fortune from the concert and entertainment business and was ranked 375th out of the 400 Richest Americans in 2005 by Forbes, has a $408,568 New York state tax warrant out on him, creating a lien on his property.

The Southampton resident also owes about $10,000 in taxes between three different media and management companies.

Sillerman, a major Democratic donor, gave $500,000 in October 2012 to the House Majority PAC — money he could have used to pay his taxes.

The multimillionaire owns SFX Entertainment, a concert-promotion company that focuses on electronic dance music. He sold the original incarnation of SFX, which later became Live Nation, to Clear Channel for $3.3 billion.

Through a spokesman, Sillerman last night denied he was a tax deadbeat, although a New York Department of State Web site still lists him as delinquent.
