Jimmy Fallon’s barbershop quartet takes on R. Kelly

Jimmy Fallon may have moved up from “Late Night” to “The Tonight Show,” but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to turn his back on his more wacky roots.

During his first week as the host of NBC’s venerable talk show, the 39-year-old Fallon has made clear he’s not about to adopt the more staid and traditional hosting style of his late-night counterparts.

On Tuesday night’s episode the comedian got in touch with his musical side for a rousing barbershop quartet rendition of R. Kelly’s R&B jam “Ignition (Remix).”

Decked out in matching striped jackets and hats, Fallon and the “Ragtime Gals”, gave the raunchy fan favorite an almost family-friendly spin.

It was just another memorable moment from Fallon’s first week as “Tonight Show” host, which in just two episodes has already included a Jerry Seinfeld stand-up set, a striking performance by Lady Gaga and a hilarious dance routine with Will Smith.
