Bill de Blasio took in so much cash toward the end of his mayoral campaign, he couldn’t even spend it all.
The de Blasio campaign spent $3.5 million between Oct. 22 and Nov. 28, but was still left with $1.4 million in the bank.
The mayor-elect — who had a commanding lead throughout the general election over GOP nominee Joe Lhota — scooped up $4 million in just the last month of the campaign, according to Campaign Finance Board records.
He spent some of the money after the election, including on a $9,000 bash at Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Bowl on Nov. 12, one week after his landslide victory. Across the street that same day, team de Blasio also threw down $2,200 at Wythe Hotel — which has a street-level restaurant and rooftop bar with views of Manhattan’s skyline — and dropped an additional $1,575 for Brooklyn photo company BKBOOTH.
Meanwhile, after a Thanksgiving family powwow, the de Blasios have still not decided whether to ditch their Park Slope digs for the Upper East Side’s Gracie Mansion, the mayor-elect said Monday.
“There’s still a couple of unanswered questions, a couple of details have to be sorted through — but we’re going to know before this week is out,” de Blasio said.
