N-word filled flier posted on door of Bergtraum HS’s ‘branding consultant’

A poster using the N-word was on put on display at Murry Bergtraum HS for Business Careers, stirring anger among teachers who called it “highly offensive.”

The flier, titled “Black People vs. N- - - - -s,” lists traits under each phrase, including “spiritual” vs. “materialistic,” “family-oriented” vs. “self-oriented” and “peaceful” vs. “confrontational.”

“WHICH ONE ARE YOU??” it asks.

The poster was tacked to the office door of Kian Brown, the school’s community coordinator and “branding consultant.” Among other duties, Brown runs the school Web site and aims to improve the image of a school infamous for hallway riots and failing students.

Murry Bergtraum teachers are outraged.

“I’m offended as a black person, and as a teacher,” one teacher told The Post. “It sends a terrible message out to our students.”

The comparisons seem to mimic a 1996 stand-up comedy rant by Chris Rock; Rock later dropped the controversial routine.

Brown did not return a call for comment.
