A Board of Education handyman at a city public school has been busted for sexually abusing a 10-year- old girl inside her East Flatbush gym class, police said yesterday.
Angel Rodriguez, 35, was charged with molesting the girl inside P.S. 198 at 6:50 a.m. on Monday.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone witnessed the alleged molestation.
Rodriguez, of Schenectady Avenue in Brooklyn, had worked for the school for at least 10 years as a custodial helper and handyman and earned $14.71 per hour, according to a Board of Education spokesman.
The spokesman said Rodriguez had been suspended without pay pending an investigation into the allegation.
