A worker who played hooky from the Bronx borough president’s office was arrested yesterday after being caught forging doctor’s notes so he could collect sick pay, officials said.
Robert Bell, 43, was charged by the city Department of Investigation with grand larceny and 17 counts of falsifying business records for allegedly lying about treatment for chronic back pain, so he could collect nearly $2,400 in sick pay.
