BLOODY BRAWL AT CLUB

Outraged residents living near a rowdy new club that has invaded a quiet Queens enclave called for its closure yesterday after five teens were stabbed in the wake of a barroom brawl early yesterday.

“I would love it gone,” fumed one woman who lives across the street from the Tahona Night Club.

The violence erupted inside the 6-month-old club on busy Steinway Street in Astoria, where two 18-year-old men and three 19-year-old men argued with another group of clubgoers, cops said.

During the melee, patrons threw chairs and bottles, sources said.

The first group of teens quickly left with two young women.

But as they walked away, a red Dodge Caravan pulled alongside, and several young men with knives jumped out, stabbing all five men and attacking the women, cops said.

The stabbing victims were in stable condition. The women did not require hospitalization. No arrests have been made.

The violence capped weeks of complaints from neighbors, who say they have had enough of fights on the street and clubgoers throwing glass bottles and blasting loud music in their cars.

“I usually put my police scanner on at 4 a.m. to catch the fights,” said Allan, who gave only his first name. “It’s like a game every week.”

The club’s bouncers don’t seem up to the job of policing the rowdy crowd, he added.

“It’s just bad management,” he said. “They can’t handle it. They need real bouncers.”

Other upset neighbors in the gentrifying area complained that the club regulars routinely party outside on the street.

“They run like kids in a park,” Obuidul Shiblu, 34, said, adding that the partying doesn’t end until after 5 a.m. most weekends.

Shiblu, a yellow-cab driver who doesn’t get home on weekends until 3 a.m., said he can’t sleep because of the pounding noise from the club.

“I can’t even open my window to go to bed,” he said.
