OPRAH’S NEW SCHOOL SEX SCANDAL

O, say it ain’t so. Again.

The problem-plagued Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in South Africa has been hit with the second sex scandal in as many years.

Local reports revealed that seven girls were expelled from the daytime chat queen’s boarding school for sexual misconduct.

The Rapport newspaper reported the girls allegedly tried to force pupils into relationships with one another and to touch each other intimately.

Lisa Halliday, senior vice president of communications for the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation in Chicago, said the girls had violated the school’s code of conduct.

“We consider this to be a confidential school matter,” she said. “Therefore, we will not confirm any personal information or disclose any details related to these expulsions.”

In 2007, the school’s matron was charged in a sex-abuse case that’s still pending. She has pleaded not guilty.
