MAN ROBS CONVENIENCE STORE – WITH HIS 9-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

Police are still looking for the man accused of robbing an Ellensburg convenience store with his 9-year-old daughter.

The Kittitas County sheriff’s office has identified him as 42-year-old Robert Daniel Webb of Everett.

Deputies say he had his daughter Meadow with him early Tuesday when he pulled a gun and took about $200 from the clerk at an AM-PM mini-mart. He was reportedly sighted later Tuesday in Yakima, driving a 2008 Silver Toyota Corolla, license 602-XQG.

Undersheriff Clay Myers says Webb is desperate after being unemployed. Myers told The Yakima Herald-Republic Webb’s wife is cooperating with investigators.

The clerk, Eric Owens, told KING-TV the robber said he had been fired and his daughter needed medical care.
