Architect Thomas Juul-Hansen sell TriBeCa duplex for $2.4M

Thomas Juul-Hansen may be best known as the architectural designer of One57 in Midtown, but he’s personally moving further downtown — FiDi, to be exact — after selling his TriBeCa abode.

The Copenhagen-born Juul-Hansen’s new place is a three-bedroom condo, north of Wall Street.

“Our family is getting bigger,” Hansen tells us. “We needed more space — and an elevator!”

The couple — Hansen is married to architect and designer Judy Wenfei Lee — now have two daughters: Jasmin and newborn Jade.

“I’ve always been downtown, as long as I’ve lived in New York,” he says.

His old two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex at 138 Duane St. went for $2.4 million — just above his $2.375 million ask. The home, on the market a mere 22 days, comes with a $1,500-a-month maintenance fee.

The apartment, in a five-story TriBeCa co-op built in 1920, comes with 14-foot-plus ceilings, large 11-foot windows, original Corinthian columns, bleached-maple floors and “chic, custom finishes.” The apartment comes with the option to buy the rights to the roof space to build a private roof deck there as well.
