Making a Bond

The landmarked cast-iron Bouwerie Lane Theatre keeps bringing in the A-list celebs. You might recall that Hugh Grant and Gerard Butler both came by earlier this year, and now Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, together and separately, have paid four visits in the past few weeks to look at the stunning $19.9 million triplex penthouse at 54 Bond St.

The condo already has seven bedrooms and 7,137 square feet, but we hear that Parker asked developer Adam Gordon to throw in another floor without increasing the price. But no deal has been signed, possibly because Parker got spooked by paparazzi ambushing her during her home search.

The penthouse unit includes a rooftop kitchen and dining area. The entire building is also for sale at $29.95 million, listed by Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Leonard Steinberg and Herve Senequier. The seven floors include two retail spaces, two full-floor loft units, the penthouse and a basement that could be used as the site of a pool.

Parker was also spotted earlier this week at a townhouse on West 12th Street. The eight-bedroom townhouse, which was on the market for $24.9 million in 2008, was listed earlier this year as a $42,000-a-month rental.

In the ‘Hart’ of it all

Josh Hartnett stayed here — and probably had some fun in the 1,450-square-foot terrace’s Jacuzzi. We’re talking about a three-bedroom, 2,465-square-foot penthouse at the Gretsch building in Williamsburg that’s now available for rent.

Hartnett’s moving out, and his unit inside the former musical-instrument factory at 60 Broadway is $9,000 per month. The apartment, with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks the East River and has views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines. There’s a chef’s kitchen, flat-screen TVs, a state-of-the art music/video system, a gas fireplace and 13-foot ceilings.

Corcoran Group brokers Debra Kavaler and Sharon Held, who just re-listed the unit, could not be reached for comment.

Perry street

Katy Perry, clad in a bulky space suit, recently presented her fiance, Russell Brand, with a trip to space for his 35th birthday. But the two lovebirds are also dealing with more earthly matters like finding themselves some heavenly real estate.

They recently visited a $9.975 million, four-bedroom, 3,468-square-foot condo in Soho Mews at 311 W. Broadway. The unit has a hot tub on a 1,591-square-foot terrace. Inside, there’s a “grand gallery entrance” and a Gwathmey Siegel-designed kitchen.

B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling from “The Office” were also at Soho Mews recently. They checked out a $2.45 million two-bedroom together while trying to be incognito during an open house.

Soho Mews broker Shelley O’Keefe of Corcoran Sunshine had no comment.

‘Selling’ high

“Selling New York,” HGTV’s fabulous reality show following high-end brokerages Gumley Haft Kleier and Core has sold! Sources say the program will be back for a second season.

The show’s first season attracted some notable clients like retired advertising executive Larry Plapler, who tells us he loved “Selling New York” so much that he asked Gumley Haft Kleier’s John Mehigan to sell his unusual property. Mehigan has the listing for Plapler’s $1.55 million private island in Paterson, NJ.

As we reported exclusively on Monday, Plapler has rowed to his island most weekends for the past 35 years. It is accessible by rowing or electric-powered boat — no gasoline is allowed on the private lake.
