Sylvester Stallone in talks to play mobster John Gotti in a movie

Actor Sylvester Stallone is in talks with “Junior” John Gotti about

making a movie based on his late mobster father, John Gotti — and Sly

plans to play the title role, TMZ reported Thursday.

The entertainment website said the film would be based on Junior’s

recollections of his relationship with his father, who died in prison in

2002.

John Gotti, also known as the “Dapper Don,” was head of the Gambino

crime family.

He was convicted in 1992 of committing 13 murders.

“Junior” pleaded guilty to racketeering crimes in 1999 and was released

from prison in 2005.
