PSAL boys soccer roundup: Stuyvesant and Beacon play to 1-all draw

The Beacon boys soccer team is headed into its showdown with top-ranked Martin Luther King Jr. on a down note.

The Blue Devils settled for a 1-1 draw with rival Stuyvesant Wednesday afternoon on Randall’s Island in Manhattan A boys soccer.

Arik Raviv scored the lone goal for Stuyvesant and goalkeeper Max Berkow made three saves as the Manhattan school improved to 7-4-2 and is 3-1-1 in its last five matches. Beacon, ranked second in the PSAL by The Post, is 10-1-1 and trails MLK by five points, although it would win the division crown if it were to win its final two matches.

No. 1 Martin Luther King Jr. 8, Julia Richman 0: Moriken (Chelsea) Sangary scored four goals, upping his city-leading total to 33, and added an assist and Bryan Moya, Ibrahim Diaby, Jethro Dede and Bradley Nestor each had a goal and an assist for undefeated MLK (12-0-0) in Manhattan A. Julia Richman is 5-5-3.

No. 4 Tottenville 4, Port Richmond 0: Marco Mingozzi notched a hat trick and Sudqi Mohammad and Matthew Bergman each added two assists for undefeated Tottenville (14-0-0) in Staten Island A. Port Richmond is 8-6-0.

No. 5 Columbus 4, Walton 0: Jordan Scarlett, Armand Dadaj, Alhoussain Bah and Abdoulaziz Soumare each scored once and goalkeeper Sanna Mass made six saves for Columbus (8-2-1), which has won eight straight in Bronx B. Walton is now 4-6-1.

No. 6 Bronx Science 5, Lehman 0: Andrew Vogel and Julian Gilbey each scored twice, Eric Labourdette had three helpers and goalkeeper Marc Choueiri made five saves for the clean sheet for Bronx Science (10-1-0) in Bronx A. Lehman is 4-6-2.

No. 9 John Adams 1, Aviation 0: Rodolfo Paguada scored the match’s lone tally, Diego Carchi assisted on the goal and keeper Willian Benitez made nine saves for the clean sheet for John Adams (11-1-1) in Queens A West. Aviation fell to 6-4-2.

No. 10 Curtis 4 New Dorp 0: Christian Aldaz and Marcin Klim each scored twice and Eduardo Bravo had three helpers for Curtis (12-2-0), which has won four straight in Staten Island A. New Dorp is 9-5-0.

McKee/Staten Island Tech 2, Susan Wagner 1: Ryan Markoe and Ryan Miller each scored once and Miller also had an assist for MSIT (7-7-0) in Staten Island A. Wagner is 3-11-0.

Bard 4, A.P. Randolph 1: Eli Shirk scored twice, Henry Swertloff and Nathan Miller (one assist) also found the back of the net and Swertloff added two helpers for Bard (6-5-2), which snapped a two-game losing streak in Manhattan A. Randolph is 0-12-0.

Fort Hamilton 1, Lincoln 1: Arianit Kukaj scored his fifth goal of the yea and Mueen Mohsin assisted on the tally for Fort Hamilton (7-3-1), which trails Sheepshead Bay by three points atop Brooklyn A West. Lincoln is now 4-6-1.

Beach Channel 4, Newtown 2: Hugo Romero (two assists), Alexis Bustillo (one assist), Franklin Zuniga and Oluwaseyi Fasoye each scored once for Beach Channel (3-8-2) in Queens A West. Newtown is 1-10-2.

FDR 4, Midwood 2: Rati Kutaladze had two goals and two assists, Jose Mendoza and Joan Reyes each scored once and keeper Saul Gonzalez Perez made six saves for FDR (7-4-1) in Brooklyn A West. Midwood is 2-9-0.

CLASS B

Prospect Heights 10, Bushwick 1: Carl Anderson Jaime Avila each scored twice, Fernando Escalona had a goal and four assists and Sulaiman Sowe followed with a goal and an assist for Prospect Heights (12-1-0) in Brooklyn B North. Bushwick is 7-5-1.

George Westinghouse 6, Automotive 2: Jason Chippy had two goals and an assist, Naeem Charles added a goal and three assists and Shakeel Warrick had a goal and an assist for Westinghouse (10-1-2) in Brooklyn B North. Automotive is 3-10-0.

FDA 3, George Washington 1: Davon Arouz, Robert Tanya and Benjamin Andoh each had a goal for FDA (9-2-1), which trails Hunter College by a point in the race for the top spot in Manhattan B-I. George Washington is 3-9-0.

Grand Street Campus 3, Banneker 1: Umar Ibrahim, Derrick Abbey and Omar Alkasimi (two assists) each tallied a goal for Grand Street (4-8-1) in Brooklyn B North. Banneker is 0-12-0.

Transit Tech 1, Wingate 0: Terrell Malcolm notched the match’s lone goal, his fourth of the year, and goalkeeper Babajide Alao made six saves for the clean sheet for Transit Tech (6-6-1) in Brooklyn B North. Wingate fell to 6-5-1.

Campus Magnet 2, August Martin 0: San Jay Butler and Dervin Morand Jr. each scored once and Darrian Chambers added an assist for Campus Magnet (11-0-0) in Queens B-I. August Martin is 5-5-1.
