A car accident in Brooklyn this morning sent seven people, including two children, to the hospital after a car slammed into five other vehicles.

The accident occurred at 8:43 a.m. near the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Grand Army Plaza near the main branch of the Brooklyn Public Library in Park Slope.

Witnesses said a silver Ford Explorer was speeding along Flatbush Avenue when it hit two cars, then got wedged between two other vehicles.
