Man robs B’klyn salon, shot by off-duty cop

An off-duty NYPD cop getting her hair done in a Brooklyn beauty salon foiled a robbery this evening by striking the thug after he shot at her, police sources said.

Feris Jones, who works in the NYPD Crime Lab, was inside the salon, Sabine’s Hallway, on Franklin Avenue in Clinton Hill, when the punk busted in and demanded cash and property, the sources said.

The 50-year-old officer identified herself as a cop, pulled out her gun and ordered him to drop his weapon, officials said.

The suspect shot at her but missed. She returned fire and the punk fled.

Investigators believe the would-be robber was struck since there was a trail of blood of leaving the salon.

“He messed with the wrong one tonight,” witness Annie Lawson said.
