Country darling Taylor Swift has been named the 2011 Billboard “Woman of the Year,” the music magazine announced Tuesday.
The 21-year-old is the youngest singer to ever receive the honor, the magazine announced.
The “You Belong with Me” crooner has blown up the charts with her massively popular hits since her first release in 2006.
Her three albums have nabbed her multiple awards, including four Grammys in 2010 for her sophomore album “Fearless.”
Known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, Swift has chronicled the ups-and-downs of her high profile heartbreaks after romances with former Disney star Joe Jonas, “Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner, actor Jake Gyllenhaal and fellow musician John Mayer.
Swift will be presented with the prize at a ceremony on December 2 in New York City.
The Black Eyed Peas lead singer, Fergie, received the award last year and pop diva Beyonce won the prize in 2009.
