Shia LaBeouf accused of making knife threat after Canada bar brawl

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf was accused of threatening to pull a knife on a man who restrained him after a wild brawl outside a bar in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Video footage emerged earlier this week showing a disheveled LaBeouf being repeatedly punched in the head by an unidentified shirtless man outside the Cinema Public House.

Other patrons broke up the fight, but local hip-hop artist Shea Carter told TMZ the “Transformers” star soon got aggressive with him after he attempted to prevent the actor from returning to the bar.

Carter appears in the video holding LaBeouf against the bar’s front window by his shirt collar in the aftermath of the brawl. He claimed he forcibly held LaBeouf against the glass after the star said, “Well what if I grabbed my knife on you?”

Carter said LaBeouf left the bar but later returned and made a throat-slashing gesture at him through the glass. Reps for the actor were yet to comment on the allegations, TMZ said.

LaBeouf is in the Canadian city filming the Robert Redford thriller “The Company You Keep.”
