Greg’s off-the-cuff remark

‘Good Day New York” co-host Greg Kelly playfully handcuffed himself to co-host Rosanna Scotto yesterday as he announced he’s leaving the morning show to anchor Ch. 5’s evening news.

Kelly slipped the handcuffs on, saying “now try splitting us up.” The two are known for their antics.

He’ll move to Ch. 5’s evening newscasts, replacing Harry Martin at 6 p.m. and veteran anchor Ernie Anastos at 10 p.m.

Beginning Monday, Scotto’s new co-host will be Dave Price, a former “GDNY” and “Early Show”weathercaster.

Meanwhile, NBC yesterday officially announced Savannah Guthrie as Ann Curry’s replacement on the “Today” show.

Guthrie will continue co-anchoring the show’s third hour “for the near future,” an NBC spokeswoman said.
