The Bronx

Two armed men held up a Laundromat in Morris Heights and ran out with a pile of cash, police said Sunday.

The robbers walked into the M&K Laundromat at around 7 p.m. June 2, went into the office and pulled out a gun, according to police.

They demanded cash, and a worker turned over $400, authorities added.

The two were captured on surveillance video as they ran out. No one was injured in the heist.

Both crooks are believed to be in their early 20s. One of them is 6 feet tall and the other is about 5-foot-7.


A 20-year-old man was shot in the shoulder early Sunday in Morrisania.

The victim was at Union Avenue and Freeman Street at around 2:30 a.m. when an assailant opened fire, cops said.

The young man was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was expected to survive, according to officials.

The motive for the shooting was not clear.


Staten Island

A city firefighter was arrested Sunday after allegedly getting into a brawl with a Graniteville club bouncer and cops before threatening hospital staffers while in police custody, sources said.

Richard Acevedo, 33, was tossed out of Above, a rooftop bar at the Hilton Garden Inn on South Avenue, at around 2:15 a.m., law-enforcement sources said.

He argued with and then attacked a security guard, the sources said.

That victim wasn’t seriously hurt and declined to press charges.

But Acevedo refused to leave the club when cops told him to hit the road, the sources said. He then allegedly threatened the police and flailed his arms when they tried to arrest him, the sources added.

Once he was cuffed, Acevedo allegedly kicked a lieutenant in the leg, sending that cop to the hospital, the sources said.

Acevedo was then taken to Richmond University Medical Center for minor injuries. While there, he continued shouting and threatened a cop guarding him, as well as hospital staffers, the law-enforcement sources added.


Queens

A gunman who squeezed off two shots at a group of people in St. Albans was caught by plainclothes cops who happened to be passing by on patrol, police said Sunday.

Three officers and a sergeant were at Merrick Boulevard and 119th Avenue when they saw a group arguing in the street at around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, officials said.

Michael Jones, 19, pulled a gun from his waistband and fired two shots into the crowd, cops said.

As police piled out of their unmarked vehicle, the shooter fled, tossing the weapon to the ground at Merrick Boulevard and Victoria Road.

Jones was caught nearby on Baisley Boulevard, and police found a .25-caliber Raven Arms gun nearby, authorities said.

Jones was slapped with charges of weapon possession, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.


Brooklyn

A gunman opened fire in East Flatbush on Sunday, wounding a 21-year-old man, police said.

The victim was on East 25th Street near Foster Avenue at around 3:35 a.m. when he heard shots, felt pain in his upper left thigh and realized he had been shot, cops added.

The man, who did not see the shooter, was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.


A cop shot at an armed teen who pointed a gun at him and another officer in East New York on Sunday, authorities said.

The officers, assigned to Brooklyn North’s Anti-Crime Unit, saw a man with a gun at Hinsdale Street and Snediker Avenues at 3 a.m., police said.

As they chased him, the man turned toward them with the gun in his hand, and one officer fired a single shot, according to police.

No one was struck, and police caught the 19-year-old suspect, whose name was not released.

A .45-caliber gun was recovered at the scene, officials added. Charges were pending.


Manhattan

A $3,500 Chanel bag and an iPhone were stolen from a woman partying at a club in the Meatpacking District when she went to the restroom, sources said Sunday.

The 28-year-old victim was partying with friends at the Simyone Lounge on West 14th Street at around 1:30 p.m. June 6 when she left her designer purse containing the cellphone and other items at her seat while she used the ladies room.

She returned to find the bag had been taken.
