Disgruntled power forward Zach Randolph and guard Nate Robinson had a run-in on the bench during a timeout in overtime.
Randolph threw a cup of water at Robinson, who responded by tossing back a towel before they were separated.
Randolph, who had missed an ugly shot just prior to the skirmish, called it heat of the moment.
“It was a misunderstanding,” Randolph said.
“Nate and I talked about it.”
