Mayor Bloomberg’s senior criminal justice adviser, who’s mulling a late entry into the race for Manhattan DA, got a big boost yesterday when his boss declared his support for him.
“There were rumors that John Feinblatt was going to run,” the mayor said.
“I don’t know whether he is. If he did, he’s a phenomenal guy and has worked for this city for a long time, and with me for a long time. In that case, I would support him. But short of that, I would not do it and stay out of the race. I have to work with whoever gets elected.”
