For a man in hiding, Tiger Woods gets around. The fallen golf great has proven to be more elusive than Osama bin Laden or Waldo, yet he’s been sighted around the world — with each inci dent more fantastic than the last.
He reportedly vis ited Africa and France and one of his mistress’ South Flor ida condos all within a month. Hordes of papa razzi were duped into believing he was partying like it was 1999 in Midtown.
Unfortu nately, most of these sight ings ap pear no more reliable than a UFO landing in Broome County.
Most recently, a despondent Woods was supposedly holed up at the Oyster Bay, LI, manse of Cablevision and Madison Square Garden owner Jim Dolan getting in-house visits from a psychiatrist in between teary-eyed calls to his betrayed wife Elin.
“Jim reached out to Tiger. He’s the one keeping him under the radar,” a source told Us Weekly. “The guesthouse is like a mansion.”
The source claims Dolan has a soft spot for fallen athletes and his benevolence extends to letting Tiger zip around on Dolan’s own private jets.
Dolan denied hosting Tiger.
There’s no shortage of similar stories these days, like the two tipsters who swore on their mothers’ graves that Tiger was wandering around in a bathrobe at Oheka Castle catering hall in Huntington, LI, last month.
Meanwhile, like a phantom ghost ship, Woods’ 157-foot yacht “Privacy” departed from North Palm Beach yesterday for parts unknown.
Woods, again, was nowhere to be seen.
But, like a wildcat, Woods is very stealthy.
“Just saw number 1 a – – hole tiger woods in the lobby of the w hotel in union square. What a jerk,” a celeb-stalker posted Tuesday on omgicu.com.
That sighting came on the heels of a tip that he was in the Trump International Hotel with a case of vodka, a leggy blonde and a platoon of private security.
Or, as several gossip Web sites reported, he could be in sex addiction therapy sessions.
Elin, meanwhile, mugged for the cameras solo yesterday in Florida once again sans wedding ring.
