Simon Barney has filed for divorce from his reality star wife of 11 years Tamra, reports RadarOnline.com.
“Petitioner contends that Respondent has been verbally abusive and has committed acts of disloyalty and infidelity,” read the papers filed by Simon, reports the entertainment Web site.
The husband and wife, who have three children together, have both starred on Bravo’s hit series “The Real Housewives of Orange Country” for the last three seasons.
In recent episodes, the once-fun loving couple has appeared strained on camera, with Simon acting uptight and controlling and Tamra confiding about marital woes during one-on-one confessional time.
RadarOnline.com reports that Simon moved out of the pair’s home earlier this week and confirmed the split, saying, “The papers speak for themselves.”
