A notorious Florida grifter dubbed the “Botox Bandit” has apparently performed a little nip-and-tuck of her own at a trendy Midtown spa.
Representatives for the Susan Ciminelli Day Spa on East 51st Street called cops to report that a woman named “Jaimie Merk” had fleeced them for $504.04, passing a bad check to cover a facial and five bottles of skin cream.
A credit-card number Merk provided also was declined, prompting an Internet search by the spa manager, who discovered the fraudster’s shady past, including a string of spa rip-offs in Florida that earned her her nickname.
“I can’t believe someone would risk jail time over something like this,” spa owner Susan Ciminelli said.
Merk has been a fugitive since March, when she blew off her monthly meeting with probation officers, officials said.
