Clock may be ‘Tik’-ing for Israeli soldiers in Web vid

The party may stop for a group of Israeli soldiers whose choreographed dance in full combat gear became a YouTube hit , and now the subject of an army investigation.

The video, titled “Battalion 50 Rock the Hebron Casbah,” shows six soldiers on patrol with rffles in the tinderbox town of Hebron in the West Bank.

With the streets deserted as Muslim residents are called to prayer, the soldiers break into a dance routine to the tune of Kesha’s “Tik Tok.”

“Tonight I’m gonna fight. Til we see the sunlight. Tick Tock on the clock but the party don’t stop, no,” the soundtrack blares as the soldiers show their reheased moves.

After the 106-second video was reported on Israeli TV, the army warned that the “joke” was being investigated and the dancers face punishment for “innapropriate conduct during a military ooperation.”
