Imperioli palace

‘Sopranos” star Michael Imperioli has put his four-story, 4,720-square-foot TriBeCa townhouse on the market for $6.995 million. And calling this residence dramatic might be an understatement.

The interior of the cast-iron building, which was built in 1872, has classic goth touches mixed with deep bordello reds — and potential buyers who dig the colors might also want to negotiate for some of Imperioli’s striking furnishings.

“It’s extremely tastefully done, but it feels like you are walking onto a movie set [or] into a museum with sculpture busts on the wall, flowing tapestries and antique furniture,” says a source who recently visited the townhouse.

The building, on West Broadway between Thomas and Duane streets, is zoned for mixed use. The ground floor and basement are retail space, while floors two through four are the four-bedroom, three-bathroom Imperioli residence, which offers high ceilings and a sunny roof deck.

Imperioli, best known for his role as the troubled hitman/screenplay writer Christopher Moltisanti on “The Sopranos,” has a role in ABC’s forthcoming “Detroit 1-8-7” drama.

Fashion forward

As we previously reported, designer Elie Tahari and his wife, Rory, have separated and found an unnamed buyer for their 141 Prince St. triplex. Now the sale has closed at $27.5 million, far more than the unofficial $22 million asking price, after a bidding war.

Elie has signed a contract to move into a two-bedroom rental at 15 Central Park West for $30,000 a month. But there’s a catch: Hedge-fund honcho Russell Abrams is paying $20,000 a month for that apartment and refuses to move out. He is suing the owner, Marisa Chearavanont, and her broker for allegedly reneging on their deal to extend the lease another year.

Chearavanont insists that Abrams, whose one-year lease just ended, must leave and that she never agreed to extend his stay.

No home for you

Alec Baldwin is still apartment hunting. The “30 Rock” star recently wandered in, unannounced and without a broker, to 225 Lafayette St. in Nolita and asked if there were any available units in the 14-story condo building. Unfortunately for Baldwin, there aren’t any condos currently on the market in the 40-unit, Cass Gilbert-designed building. The last one that sold was a two-bedroom, 1,175-square-foot unit on the seventh floor, which was just snapped up for $1.72 million.

DJ cuts out

Danny Tenaglia, one of the world’s more prominent DJs and a Grammy-nominated record producer, has a signed contract to sell his condo at the Arris Lofts building in Long Island City for $1.24 million. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,526-square-foot penthouse has a 1,390-square-foot roof deck. The building was the former Eagle Electric warehouse and turned into a Costas Kondylis-designed luxury development.

“Danny is playing a lot in South America and is looking to move his base of operations to Miami,” a source says.

Listing broker Adrian Lupu of Nest Seekers International had no comment.
