Source: Stoudemire likes Ridnour as pick-and-roll partner

While Amar’e Stoudemire would love to team up with point guard Tony Parker, a source told The Post the new Knicks power forward would prefer, given his choice of free-agent point guards, to pick-and-roll with Milwaukee’s Luke Ridnour.

The Knicks have Raymond Felton and Ridnour high on their list, but feel Ridnour could be the better value. The source said Stoudemire views Ridnour as Nash Lite — someone who can run the pick-and-roll, pass the ball well and shoot from the outside. There are concerns Stoudemire will not be the same without Nash.

In a post on his Twitter account, Nash wrote, “It was a dream playing with you. New York’s going to love you.”

The Knicks like Felton, too, and could meet with him soon. They scheduled a meeting for later this week that they cancelled until they know for sure they are not getting either LeBron James or Dwyane Wade with their second max.

According to a source, Orlando’s Jason Williams, who may be looking for a new home now that Chris Duhon has signed with the Magic, also is on the Knicks’ list.

“White Chocolate” worked out for the Knicks last summer but they passed, feeling he was a step slow and they didn’t want to give him a two-year deal. Williams excelled as a backup to Jameer Nelson.

Golden State’s Monta Ellis is a possibility in a sign-and-trade for David Lee.

Stoudemire lauded incumbent point guard Toney Douglas in a Tweet of hyperbole. “U heard me bro u gonna fit in with us. We gonna be like Kobe in Shaq,” Stoudemire wrote.

Meanwhile, the disappointing Duhon Era is officially over. He signed a four-year, $15 million deal with the Magic, which pursued him heavily two summers ago before he chose the Knicks. It as a whopping payday for Duhon, considering is struggles in New York for two seasons.

Duhon supplanted Stephon Marbury and sputtered in leading the Knicks into the ground in two dreadful seasons as starting point guard — the bridge to 2010.

Duhon said repeatedly had no regrets about spurning Orlando, which made the 2009 Finals, where he would have been a backup. But obviously he got to correct his mistake with a deal even the Knicks brass was surprised about, as Duhon returns to a reserve role.
