Emily Blunt, John Krasinski marry in Italy

British actress Emily Blunt and “The Office” star John Krasinski wed Saturday in a private ceremony in Italy, Us Weekly reported.

The couple wed at the Villa D’este in Como. They had been staying at U.S. actor George Clooney’s nearby Lake Como estate since the Fourth of July weekend.

Clooney and his girlfriend, Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis, attended the outdoor ceremony.

Blunt — who shot to fame for her role in “The Devil Wears Prada” — and Krasinski began dating in late 2008.

Krasinski, 30, proposed to Blunt, 27, in August 2009 with a three-carat Edwardian diamond and platinum ring from Neil Lane, worth $100,000, the magazine reported.

Krasinski told Access Hollywood that the proposal was “very casual” but also very emotional.

“She did cry after I cried, and we cried and then everyone around us was crying,” he said.

Golden Globe winner Blunt previously dated Canadian crooner Michael Buble for three years after the pair met backstage at an Australian TV awards show.

The wedding came a week after Krasinski’s on-screen wife Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam on “The Office,” married writer Lee Kirk.
