Qaeda targeting Bam’s Kenyan ‘granny’

Al Qaeda goons are threatening to take out President Obama’s “granny” in Kenya in retaliation for the US raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

The threat by the al Qaeda-inspired Somali group Al Shabaab prompted Kenyan authorities to beef up security around Sarah Onyango, Obama’s 89-year-old step-grandmother, authorities said.

“In the wake of security challenges, including terror threats, I can confirm that we decided to enhance security at the home of Mama Sarah,” said Kenyan administrator Francis Mutie.

Although not a blood relative, Sarah is the third wife of Obama’s paternal grandfather, and the president has affectionately referred to her as “Granny.”

In the United States, more details emerged from files seized from bin Laden, including the revelation that the terror mastermind e-mailed by putting his missives on “flash” drives and giving them to a courier to upload at an Internet cafe.

His communications – detailed on some 100 memory sticks – are so prolific that the CIA and FBI have enlisted Arabic speakers from other government agencies.
