Two men busted for breaking into 50 Cent’s Conn. mansion — one arrested drinking his wine: report

Rapper 50 Cent’s Connecticut mansion was broken into this morning by two men — one of them found drinking inside the sprawling, 52-room estate, authorities said.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ.com that police got a call around 6 a.m. from security guards at the mansion in Farmington — once owned by Brooklyn-born boxer Mike Tyson — about a suspicious car in the driveway.

Cops showed up and discovered two men in the home, one of them, Alexander Hernandez, was hiding in a closet pounding a bottle of wine he allegedly swiped from 50’s place.

His alleged accomplice Santos Padilla was found in another part of the mansion.

According to cops, the two suspects entered through an unlocked door and were in possession of marijuana when police arrived.

Both men were arrested and held on $50,000 bond.

Hernandez was released on $50,000 bond, while Padilla was held in jail for the same amount, according to Connecticut’s NBC/Channel 30.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was not home at the time of the break-in. He is currently trying to sell the house, which is on the market for $9.9 million.

In a 2006 interview, the savvy businessman, who has his own record label, G-Unit and a sneaker line with Reebok, said his refrigerator is stocked with “a lot” of the drinks.

“It’s a better reflection of my lifestyle,” he said at the time. “I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t need an energy drink.”
